Vaput, sinunkin kuorosi?

Vaput on iso kuorosiskoperhe, johon uudet laulajat otetaan lämpimästi vastaan ja jossa oma kuorokummi ottaa tulijan siipiensä suojiin.

Vaput harjoittelee perinteikkään Jyvälän kansalaisopiston opintopiirinä. Kuoron taustalla toimii Vaput ry. Jyvälän kurssimaksulla ja kuoron jäsenmaksulla pyöritämme kuoron toimintaa ja ostamme nuotteja. Lisäksi keräämme varoja ja tuemme konserttiemme ja kuoromatkojemme toteutumista.

Kuoro harjoittelee tiistai-iltaisin klo 18.00-20.30. Harjoituspaikkana toimii Kuokkalan Yhtenäiskoulun ruokasali.

Vaput in English

Vaput is an amateur female choir in the City of Jyväskylä where 34 singing women of different ages and backgrounds enjoy singing and self-development together. In particular, Vaput is known for promoting and performing choral music from Jyväskylä and Central Finland. The choir is led by music pedagogue Ulla Kotamäki.

The choir's program is extensive and versatile. In addition to traditional women's choral music, the repertoire includes more entertaining and modern choral songs. The heart of the choir also beats for beautiful spiritual compositions. Vaput takes on new challenges, so the repertoire is renewed regularly.

Vaput performs actively during the year in various events and concerts. The highlight of the year is the traditional May Day Coffee Concert.

The choir practices Tuesday evenings from 18:00 to 20:30 o'clock in the School of Kuokkala.
